Moving your family from San Diego to a town of 3,000 and turning an old car dealership into a brewery sounds like a big gamble. But for Casey and Lindsay Hawkins of South Gate Brewing Company, it paid off. Their award-winning, five-year-old brewpub near Yosemite is proof that you can set up shop in a tiny town and succeed--as long as you do your due diligence.
Casey had been working on his business plan on his own, but “I felt really overwhelmed trying to do it myself,” he says. Friends told him about Masterplans, and he got in touch. Then his dedicated project manager, research analyst, and financial modeler got to work.
